| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Libby/Libby/Short wrote this text based on their belief that the subject of financial accounting is inherently interesting, but financial accounting textbooks are often not. They believe most financial accounting textbooks fail to demonstrate that accounting is an exciting field of study and one that is important to future careers in business. When writing this text, they considered career relevance as their guide when selecting material, and the need to engage the student as their guide to style, pedagogy, and design. Libby/Libby/Short is the only financial accounting text to successfully implement a real-world, single focus company approach in every chapter. Students and instructors have responded very favorably to the use of focus companies and the real-world financial statements. The companies chosen are engaging and the decision-making focus shows the relevance of financial accounting regardless of whether or not the student has chosen to major in accounting.

| Customer Reviews: Good Accounting Book with Reader Friendly Language September 7, 2009 BookWormGirl (Bay Area, CA) This is a great introduction accounting book for students that aren't familiar with all the accounting terms and language. The authors did a great job in making this book student friendly.
Good book for basics October 22, 2009 Monisha Charania This is a good beginner's book as it provides the basics you need to introduce yourself to the subject. I needed it for a class but it can serve as a good reference guide as well.
Late Book February 27, 2010 Ronnie "The Bear" Cclark3 was very nice and responded fairly quickly to my emails, however, I had to email because, by the latest date I was to receive the book, I had not. I did not receive the book until ten days after the given time; more than a month after ordering it online. The book arrived in good condition, but if you wish to order from this user, insist on a tracking number.
It's been over a month and I still don't know where my book is... September 17, 2009 J. Rodas (Aptos, CA USA) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I wrote the seller several times and I also asked amazon to help me contact the seller but neither one is answering me. The seller has my money, they never mailed the book. How can I get my money back to buy it somewhere else?
